Beare Park’s Debut Collection Is A Masterclass In Understated Chic
The brand has left a lasting impression.
On Wednesday June 2 at the iconic Sydney Opera House, Beare Parkreleased its debut collection into the world. The scene was set for a spectacular show, and it absolutely delivered.
Founded by friends Gabriella Pereira and Angela Krantz, the collection is a culmination of hard work, determination and a desire to bring unparalleled quality to the Australian fashion scene.
Taking a capsule-approach to dressing, many pieces are designed to be worn together, with multiple garments being mixed and matched throughout the show. We saw a strapless velvet top paired with trousers initially, before it returned towards the end of the show as a striking mini dress. The versatility of each piece makes them a must-have for minimalist dressing, which only continues to grow in popularity. One of the most beautiful things about this collection is its unique ability to transcend both age and gender. Elegant silk trousers, billowing shirts and oversized blazers are capable of complimenting anyone, making it a highly inclusive range. The androgynous nature of the designs is yet another inclusivity push, with male models showcasing a relaxed-fitting suit and sophisticated shirt/trouser look.
Every piece has been handmade in Sydney by master tailors. The only international component is the fabrics, with silk sourced from the world's finest mills in Japan and Italy (read: unparalleled quality). Wool garments have been carefully crafted from Australian merino wool and woven with silk from the Biella region of northern Italy (a region renowned for producing the world's highest quality wool cloth since the 17th Century).
