- T TtTTTtThTNew York shows have begun with a bang. Even though some big names have shifted their shows to Paris, there's still a buzz across the pond. As well as the starry front rows and glitzy parties, there's an excitement surrounding the emerging names making catwalk claims this season. Meanwhile, Kaia Gerber made her catwalk debut at Raf Simons's sophomore Calvin Klein collection and Tom Ford championed nothing but all-out glamour for his spring/summer 2018 return to the catwalk. Here's what you need to know about trends you'll be wearing next summer...
 To master the art of layering is to master the art of stylish dressing. Alexander Wang called upon his Adidas collection to add sporty layers to his grungy approach to disco dressing. We love the clash of ideas here: the banker’s shirt, sheer slip, patent red bag and Perspex sandals. It feels fresh, and not all that different from the ideas in our existing wardrobe. |

Can you believe it's been almost a week of summer fashion shows and we are yet to mention the phrase "festival fashion"? Thanks to Anna Sui's catwalk offering this can now change. A total mash-up of all things signature Sui, it was the hippy dream that flower-power girls dream of. For next year's festivals, we will be emulating this look: all silky floaty sleeves and barely-there tie-dye shorts.
