For fashion houses these days, creating a fragrance advert that will get people talking takes more than just hiring a famous and beautiful actress and putting her in a couture dress. As wisely noted by Chanel, whose new Gabrielle ad sees Kristen Stewart fighting, dancing and punching her way out of a gauzy cocoon to the sounds of Beyoncé’s (enormously underrated) 2015 collaboration with Naughty Boy – Runnin’. She may still be beautiful, but she’s anything but boring.
